A few things.... first of all I want to send out a very special Thank You to Masen(www.ma5en.com/blog) for doing my new headshots for my website. He is so gifted and his images made me feel like a movie star.




The second thing is the Lifestyle section of my website is up! I am working on getting the babies gallery up but the rest of the site is up. I am so happy that it's done.

Over the weekend I photographed this little cutie, Donovin. I shot him at 3 weeks old and now he is 3 months old. The time sure does fly by! He is getting to be a real cutie!

I have received 4 emails now that have my website address in the email name. If you receive an email with anyone else's name other than mine it is not from me. For example dave@melissakoehlerphotography.com
I have contacted my hosting site and they say that they are just junk emails. I am afraid that people are receiving these with my company's name as junk mail.
This is very disturbing to me.
So, if you receive an email that isn't signed by me (not The Melissa Koehler Photography team) it isn't from me. In all my emails I usually sign my name and have a link to my website and blog.
If you have received an email like this that wasn't from me I am sorry. I had no idea! Please delete anything that doesn't have my name as the sender or meli@melissakoehlerphotography.com(this is me). If this continues to be a problem I may change my email address.
I am sorry for the mix up and any incovvenience this may have caused.
It is very upsetting that people are sending out emails with my company name attached, very scary!

I did a Trash the Dress session with Suzy the other day. This was my first one so I didn't know what to expect. Suzy was a trooper. She was up for anything. We had a lot of fun together.
For my first try at this kind of session I am pretty happy with the way the images came out.

It's up!

It's been a long time coming but my new website is finally up! I am still working on my Lifestyle side right now, it should be ready soon.
I can't tell you how excited I am. It is so wonderful to finally have my new site live!!! Yeah!

What up cuz?

This is my cousin Chris. We got to see him for a day while I was in Boston. I hadn't seen him in about 7 years!!! I can't believe we waited that long. I had such a great time with him. We all went to dinner at a crazy Mexican restaraunt, then headed the the North end for some yummy desserts. Apparantly, the North end in Bawston has some of the best desserts in the world, who knew? Then we all went to the bar that inpired Cheers the t.v show. It was so cute, definelty touristy.
I hope that we don't wait another 7 years to hang out again Chris.

Traveling from Coast to Coast.
Last week I went to Boston to visit Mark for a few days. It was beautiful. We walking along the Freedom Trail, which takes you to some of the most historic areas in Boston. We saw Hahvahd(Harvard). What a great time! I also got to see my cousin that I haven't seen in years. I will post a pic in my next post.
Then, I hopped a flight to the Bay area for a family get together. So, I literally went from one coast of the US to the other. I had a great time in both places but I am so happy to be home!
Sorry it has taken so long to post. I finally edited some pictures from my trip.

Yesterday I did an engagement session for Mark's younger brother and his fiance.
We had so much fun! I still have a bunch more photos to go through, but I thought I would put a few up.

Wow! It's been a long time since my last post!
Sorry I have been such a bad blogger lately. I thought I would post a few pics from this past Sunday. We were celebrating our friends birthday. Since my photographer friend Amber and I were there, we thought it only fitting to have a mini photo session of one of our friends and her little girl.

I have been wanting one of these for so long now!
I can't believe that I bit the bullet and did it today. I bought an iMac.
This machine is AMAZING!!! I LOVE it. I really don't know why I didn't do it sooner?
For the Mac users out there you know what I am talking about. For those of you that don't know, they are so great!

The luckiest day of the year.
Stacey and Peter got married on Saturday 7-7-07. There is without a doubt that these two are so in love. I had the pleasure of capturing their special day.
I still have a TON of pictures to go through. Here are a few that I love so far.
S & P are still on their honeymoon, but I thought I would have a sneak peak for them when they returned home.
Congratulations you guys. I am so happy for you. Lots of love!!!
A big thanks to Amber and Marlo that came along for the ride with me that day. We all had a wonderful time and they were both rockstars!! Thanks you two, big hugs!!!

Made a believer out of me! When we went to Downtown Disney, we stopped in the Basin store. I tried one of their shampoo bars with little expectation. Wow, I am amazed! This little puppy really works! The best part is that it's chemical free and it has conditioner built in. Great for travel. I also bought the Rock Deoderant, very cool stuff.
Just wanted to share my new finding with everyone :)

I took some fun shots. We had a great time, but now we are tired! We didn't go into Disneyland because Aiden is still too little. We met some family up there and hung out for a while.
