Bigger Images

Today my good friend and talented photographer, Masen, helped me work on my blog and images.
I am now able to post larger images to my blog. I learned so much today, I felt like I should already know this stuff.




I really don't know if you realize how much I appreciate your help Masen! You are truly a wonderful person! Thank you so much!!

Just playing around with some new actions. I took these shots of Abbey the other day. I had some fun playing around with the center too. Isn't she so adorable! I just love her!

Gizoogle

So, I made a post about Gizoogle and then realized that some of the words translated were very inappropriate. I may seem like a prude but I just didn't want people to think I talked like that.

Back to the regularly scheduled program :)

TTD part 2

Ok, so I went through a lot of the pictures. There are so many great ones, but so far these are my favs. I took a lot of the same model, Jessie, because she was so awesome at posing. She was also super nice :)

Salton Sea....Trash the Dress

I have probably close to 1,000 images to go through from the Trash the Dress session at the Salton Sea.

Yesterday I had lunch with Melissa McClure and Melissa Barrad of I Do Weddings
We went to California Pizza Kitchen in La Jolla. It was yummy!
I will be shooting with Mel McClure this year, and I couldn't be more excited. I feel like we are a good fit, and she does have a pretty cool name :)

December Wedding

Back in December I helped my friend Cristina with a wedding. She was photographing the wedding as a gift to the bride and groom, and hadn't done a wedding before. So, I went to help her. Our friend Marlo was also there. I love working with these two ladies!
I was in charge of doing the guy's pics. We had lots of fun goofing around.


-This is a serious picture but they were trying very hard not to laugh.


-I probably shouldn't have had them jump off this rock before the ceremony, in case someone got hurt. It did turn out pretty fun though

The weather was sunny then rainy. It was gorgeous during the ceremony and for part of the formal pictures. Then, it started to rain.
I had a great time shooting that day!

Beautiful Landscapes

My brother-in-law, Matthew, is a wonderful landscape photographer in Sonoma County. He truly has a gift of capturing nature's beauty.
Matt just started a blog (after I kept bugging him to do so). I know he has had a chance to work with a few famed landscape photographers, and he is well on his way to becoming one too.

My best friend

We met in 9th grade French class and have been friends ever since. It's not everyday that you find a friend that you can confide your crazy thoughts to and know that they will understand exactly what you mean, even if it doesn't come out right.
Stacy has been through everything with me, and yet she still is my friend.
I love her for her thoughtfullness, caring heart, beautiful spirit, honesty, giving nature, creative genius and so many other things.

Yesterday, Aiden was in his crib getting ready for a nap. I came in to check on him and he had pulled his hood on his head. Normally he doesn't like having it on but he kept it that way.
I quickly grabbed my camera.
I love this image. Such a sweet face!

Looking to "shoot" people

The New Year is here, and that has inspired me to be more creative with my photography. I would like to photograph people who are willing to let me be creative in whatever setting.
I am looking for women, men, kids, seniors and babies.

Self Portrait

So, today I tried doing some self-portraits. This is something I would like to do from time to time. Just for fun. Maybe I should submit these to a magazine, what do you think?
