Very sad!

Today my sweet little boy is sick!
We haven't had a good day so far.

I made an appt for him yesterday for today. We waited for the doctor for over 35 minutes. Which, if you haven't done this with a child that doesn't feel good, isn't fun! He has a cold and an ear infection. So, we went to the pharmacy, which was supposed to have had the persciption called into it by the doctor. It didn't. So, we had to wait and wait and wait. He did not do so well with that either!
He won't go to sleep, even though he is exhausted. This picture pretty much sums it all up on how he feels, and I am feeling right about now too.

I hope everyone else has a good weekend :)

Photo Outing with Ruby and Leah

While I was in Arizona I met up with my friends Ruby and Leah. We met at a resort between Tucson (where Leah lives) and Phoenix (where Ruby and I were). The place we met at was very pretty. Not to mention they had celebrities staying there:)
Anyway, here are a few images from our little photo shoot.

-isn't she model material? I love the way the sun is lighting her hair

-so serious :)

-little miss cute thing

-I love the emotion here. I am big fan of the laughing shots!

-our attempt at a shadow portrait

-our server took this.

-this is the shot I was taking when we were leaving and I saw Jerry O'Connell. I am so happy with it!

I had such a great time with you ladies! I can't wait to see you again!
I miss you
Lots of love

Isabella and Donovan

Today I got to photograph two of my favorite kids! I have been taking Isabella's pictures since she was in her mommy's belly and I have been taking Donovan's pictures since he was just a few weeks old. I love how I have been able to see these two cuties grow up. Isabella is going to be ONE next week! I can't believe how the time has flown by!

Here are just a few from our session today. I love these families!

-Aren't they so adorable? Their mommies are best friends!

I love you guys!
Can't wait to see you again soon
XOXO!!!

Oreganos

While in Arizona, I visited many eating establishments that we don't have here in San Diego. One of them being Oreganos. This place is unbelievable! I love the atmosphere and the food is awesome. Especially the Pazookie. Going for the Pazookie alone is worth it! AMAZING!!!
I put together this little collage of the pictures I took at Oreganos with Brianna. The background is a picture of our table with the menus. I used no flash, just high ISO. I used the polaroids from Pink Ink. I love that place!

I have to also mention our server. He was hilarious! When he brought out our Pazookie, he sang his own version of Happy Birthday but the tune was to Britney Spear's, Oops I did it again. I wish I could remember the words because it was so funny!
Thanks for looking. I have more Arizona photos, but I will post later.

**Mixed feelings about the Superbowl. Glad that the Patriots finally were beat. But, not happy about Eli Manning getting a ring.***

Have a great day everyone!

Jessica's Maternity

While in Arizona, I did maternity photos for my good friend Jessica. I just found out a few minutes ago that Jessica had her baby! Baby Hailey is here! :)
Jessica and I were pregnant together with our little boys Aiden and Hunter. It was such a relief to have someone there to share the woes of pregnancy with me.
Jessica has 3 boys and is pregnant with a girl! Here are a few images from the session.
She gave me permission to post whatever I wanted. Isn't she glowing?

-Hot Mama!

**Isn't the crib so adorable? I love it!

Thank you Jessica for the beautiful pictures! See you again soon :)

Big hugs

Super Bowl

While in Arizona, Brianna took me down to the Stadium where Superbowl is being held. I don't care who is playing, because I don't like either team. Don't get me started....
But, I thought it would be nice of me to show all of you where the Superbowl is this year, since most of you won't be able to see it yourselves.

So, here you go....

**All of these were taken while driving in the car with the exception of the last one. That one is made of all chocolate. ***

I have lots more pictures to go through. I know Jessica is dying to see her maternity photos.

I hope everyone has a great weekend.

A new profession for me?

So, while I was in AZ I had a photo date with my friends Ruby and Leah.
I will be posting more from that day later.
I wanted to share with you all my first celebrity photo! I have never been one that has been star struck. I saw Jerry O'Connel first yesterday, but chickened out to ask him for his photo. Thank goodness for Ruby! She isn't afraid to ask! I really wish I would have asked Mr. O'Connell to wait while I changed into my portrait lens :)

I was so excited. He was very nice! He said,"You guys don't look like Paparazzi".

After we took his picture, we saw a bunch of the NY Giants players getting into black SUV's.
That would explain the security guards and police cars around the place. DUH!!!

****** :)
I am back from Arizona!

I will be reporting and posting in the next few days from my trip. But, I though I would put a few images of one of the maternity shoots I did while I was there. The weather was horrible this day, no available light. I really have to be creative.
Thank you Dani and Travis for allowing me to photograph you and your "belly" :) xoxo

**yes, we really did need the umbrella due to the rain.

Thanks for looking!

Tasty

And you thought lens caps were good for only one thing :)
I was trying to take a few pictures of something other than Aiden. I turned around and he had found my lens cap and stuck it in his mouth. When I tried to get it from him he started to run from me. He was very proud of the lens cap.

I also think I am going to start putting my tech info on my pictures. What do you guys think?

**I am leaving for AZ tomorrow evening. I will be seeing some wonderful friends and doing a few maternity shoots as well. I get back next week. I don't know if I will be blogging while I am gone, we'll see.***

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Where's the button?

That makes him switch from one extreme to the other? Lately, Aiden has been throwing small fits when he doesn't get what he wants. I think the fit he was throwing here, was that he couldn't touch my camera.

-You can see on the picture to the left a tear down his cheek. That was from another fit a few seconds earlier.
**Good news, he FINALLY got his first tooth! I was starting to worry!**

Big Hugs!

We were on a mission....

literally :)
This morning I decided that Aiden and I would go to Presidio Park. Yesterday it rained, so the grass was wet. I didn't care if Aiden got dirty. He was having so much fun running around and playing with his ball.

***I challenge anyone to go on a photo outing with a 15 month little one. It was so difficult doing this by myself with him, but I had fun. I am glad I went!

Here are some images from today.

-Drink it in, it always goes down smooth

-This is one of my favorite shots from today. I just love to reflection!!!

-Here we are, ready to go home.

***After doing this outing today, I thought it would be fun to have a photographer's outing to historic parts of San Diego. Would anyone be up for doing this with me?***

Thanks for looking. Big hugs

Christine and Todd

Today I had the pleasure of photographing Christine and Todd. Christine responded to a blog post that I had put up wanting models to help me with being more creative. We had fun today walking the streets of Hillcrest.

-We started out by this cool orange wall. The sun was hitting it just right

-I loved the shadow here

-Then we made a quick stop by a flower stand. Look at how beautiful the light is hitting them. Christine told me that she saw a satellite dish inside the little stand :)

-This shot is my favorite. I don't know why but I really love it! While we were waiting to cross the street, Christine and Todd ran into a friend of theirs. Popular people!

-Crossing the street. I love the sun here.

-I put these two shots together because I just love both of them. Look at how cute their shoes are and the expression in the other one is so great!

-We were starting to end our session and I asked them to quickly stop at this corner for a shot. A man riding a bike was telling Christine to look at the camera. You can just see him in the background. I love this shot, thanks bike guy! :)

-They said they liked to make funny faces at each other. I told them they had 10 seconds to make funny faces at me. Here is a compilation of what they did. Goofy kids :)
**I used a template from Pink Ink to make this**

Thank you guys for having fun with me today! I hope you did have a good time! Next time we need to go to one of the many restaurants you suggested :)

Have a great day everyone!
xoxo
